Waiariki's goal is describing her mum and using her spelling list.
My mum is fat. She is a little bit skinny. My mum is nice. I live with my nan. I talk to my mum on the phone. I love my nan. I love my mum.

Room 1 & 2 students have been learning about Koru designs as part of their art programme. They are learning how to use different mediums to create effect. Their first project was using sketching pencils for shading different parts of the koru for a 3D effect. Phillip Phillip has gone all out with his design incorporating different ideas but still keeping the main theme (koru) as the focus. Anahera I love the way that Anahera has used different directional lines with some being darker and some lighter. Very effective. Reama Reama has used different tones when shading her koru which gives her picture real depth.
